Amsterdam part.3 - The International Gyaru meet 2013

The day of the meet was a bit stressful, I don't remember exactly what we did the day before but I remember going to bed quite late and getting up feeling stressed and short of time... I was going to curl my hair but I didn't have time for that and I really regret it seeing the pictures from others who has blogged about it :/ but oh well,no point crying over spilled milk ^^


Either way,we got there a bit late,but everyone was waiting (not just for us but for everyone else as well) so there wasn't any trouble finding the place at least. Jeez,I was so nervous and shy. It felt like everyone knew each other and I was an outsider... well,lol I was but you get what I'm saying. So I really tensed up because of it :/

I'm a bit too lazy to upload all the pictures to facebook,also I dont really like the fact that nothing ever really disappears from their servers after uploading it there so I'd rather post them on my blog.

Amsterdam Part. I

I went to Amsterdam in late June to visit my best friend and to go to my first Gal meet(which was really fun btw :D) but I'll get to that later^^

The country side of Norway,about 10min outside of Oslo.

First we took the direct train to Gardermoen Airport and I decided to take some snap shots

I don't know why,but getting seats near the wings always calms me.
Yes I have flight anxiety,must be the fact that if that metal canister DOES decide to drop out of the sky I'll be one of the first to panic and jump out before we even land in the water.
"that doesn't make any sense... :S"
Nope,but then again do crazy people make sense?

How's life treatin ya?

So small life update,because I am alive and I've been doing stuff. Irrelevant stuff but stuff nonetheless.

Earlier in June, I was out with mah gurl Xiaoting, I don't have many pictures of the event since we took pictures with her camera and she'd kill me if I'd upload the one picture she took with my new phone so yeah.

I snagged this picture from her post but we both look good here so I see no reason why she would murder me for it.

She looks so cute! I just wanna pinch her cheeks and go "aww<3" sometimes!
I really want those lenses though :O

Princess Pinky Twilight Blue Review

Princess Pinky Twilight Blue

In this post I'll review the PP Twilight Blue circle lenses^^

Diameter: 14.5mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Type: 1 year disposal

I bought them from Pinkyparadise for 28,90US$ so they're pretty expensive and they were a hassle to deal with too,since I kept receiving defect lenses in one way or the other.

The first pair I bought,the one for my right eye were defective. I left both of them in the solution for 24hrs,rinsed them and tried them on for the first time. The left eye was ok,it moved around a lot so I tried putting them on the other way and then they stopped moving around so much. The right eye however stung like a razor blade on the eyeball I immediatly took it out,my eye had gotten really irritated by it too,after wearing it less than 20 sec. I thought it was weird,since that had never happened before so I left it in a new solution for a couple of more hours before trying again.
Nope! Still stung like a mofo. So I tried inspecting it for scratches or bulks in the container and such,everything was in order so it was clearly a production defect or sorts. I contacted Pinkyparadise and they sent me a new one after I had taken a couple of pictures for them to verify that they were faulty. The next one was perfect,except one thing. It had a cluster,a small lump on the inside of the lens that felt like it was scratching my eye,it was even visible when held infront of the light. So again I had to ask for a new one from Pinkyparadise. They gladly sent a new one again and the 3's the charm right?
It fit perfectly,no discomfort out of the usual dry eye after a couple of hours.


                                                                   My two cents:

They don't look natural at all,but thats not why I bought them so I'm happy for that. They do have a natural pattern but the color is so strong and resemble's husky with blue eyes they're not fitting for a day at the office,unless you work for Marilyn Manson^^

The first hour,they moved around a lot and felt kinda dry and I could feel I had something foreign on my eyes,I didn't like that. But after that hour or so they stopped feeling foreign and started feeling comfortable like my other lenses.

They do move around a lot,and they're really fragile to the feel I think. Not like Vassen or Geo,so be aware of that when washing them. If they don't stop moving around,try putting them on inside out because they're really hard to determine whats the inside and outside when you have them in your hand.

Bad laptop lighting

The color is strong,it doesnt look toned down in the dark or more vibrant in the sun. they stay the same no matter the lighting,which I think is a plus. However,the bottle says they're 14,5mm but the colored iris diameter is 14mm. I was a bit disappointed in that. Makeup wise,they fit with toned down gyaru looks or people who have no gap between their iris and their lower lash line.

Color: 10/10   
Enlargement: 5/10
(they make your eyes slightly larger)

Guess that's it for now, I've gotten so many requests to do a tutorial so I'm going to try and do that,however I dont know when it will be up.
I'm going to Amsterdam on tuesday, to visit one of my best friends and getting to know more gals on a meet in Utrecht ^^

So I was sitting up late,thinking about what to write to my dear readers when it hit me "how about uploading the Ageha Eye Make Perfect book mook?"

So I've been sitting here watching it upload for the last 5hrs... :S

I think all the files are scrambled in the folder but if you download the whole folder or all the files and click sort in some way they should appear in the correct order.

                                                                 *IMPORTANTE*

all the pictures has been taken with my Sony Xperia Z with 13 megapixels. I don't have a scanner but I thought "something is better than nothing right?"  + I made this for you! I think they're really good considering the device they've been captured with.

Secondly: You will see duplicates of the pictures since some were taken from a bad angle and caught too much exposure from the light.

Third: I did not translate at all, (115 pages with kanji's is asking a lot of my tiny little brain) but the quality of the pictures are so sharp its possible to read the kanji's without difficulties,except if you don't understand kanji...then.. sux to be you? I'm sure there's an app for that somewhere on the web ^^

Latest buys and Moroccan Oil goodiebag

So I thought I'd make a quick post,especially since I've gotten so many wonderful things from my lovely cousin Chioma :D

First the stuff I've bought lately ^^

PinkyParadise Package

So I got my package from PinkyParadise earlier than expected,it took 2 days for it to arrive :S

These ones looks like Dolly Winks Real Nude,but a lot cheaper! :D

 I wanted to replace my Dolly Wink Pure little's with something that was less expensive so I decided to buy these from Jumily,since they were about half the price of Dolly Wink.However,I was disappointed when I saw how cheap looking they were in the package. They look fine in the picture but they're actually quite choppy and uneven in RL

 I got these for free,a little surprise package from PP :D! It's probably because they didn't have my prescription for the Vassen Kirei Green lenses,after I had payed and ordered it. And then they didn't have my replacement lenses either,lol. But I must say,they have an awesome customer service and they're always eager to please. They're not sponsoring me to say this either. I ordered a pair of lenses once,which I knew were known to have defects but they were so striking I couldn't resist. I had to ask for replacements 2 times since they all had some kind of defect. The first one stung,the second had a lump inside, but the third one were perfect. They didn't try to convince me to take a refund or change them for some other ones,they just happily obliged,and sent new ones.

But I do buy a lot from them,2 or 3 times a year I'll spend enough for them to send things to me for free priority shipping,so nuff said.

I'm looking forward to trying these ^ ^

At first I thought I'd gotten a bad replica since it felt like someone had put menthol mouth freshner in my eyes,but it's supposed to feel like that.
....
Well I did refresh my eyes so it wasn't a lie

And I bought some new lenses

To be perfectly honest,they look exactly the same as the Geo Princess Mimi Chocolate brown/ Vassen Princess Bambi Queen Brown,the only difference is the pupil hole is bigger on the starmish ones,making the look less intense than the aforementioned ones. To put it short,it gives a better dolly look than Bambi and Mimi. And for any twilight cosplayers who's cosplaying Edward,Bambi and Mimi are the lenses for you.

The other pair I bought is Geo Princess Mimi Almond brown,I always have at least one pair of these as they're my favourite everyday lenses. If anyone is buying their first pair of lenses and you have brown eyes,I recommend these. They blend in so well with brown!

My German Loot And Recent Buys

It feels like all I've been doing lately is travelling,though I know that's not true.
My German trip was "sponsored" by "Father-in-law":P
Anyway, here is my latest loot ^^

Excluding Spyro the Dragon,Ghost In The Shell,El Shaddai and NeverDead which is 2/3 of the games portrayed here >.> the rest,meaning the last two I bought in Heidelberg at Gamestop pre-played. I included them here since I didn't get to play them untill I got home to Oslo again.
El Shaddai and NeverDead was at bargain prices so I couldn't resist,especially NeverDead sinte the plot summary sounds to hilarious.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
This is the one I was playing on my flight to Heidelberg,which I mentioned in this post

A good boredom game,so far it's hack and slash type of gaming,similar to Kingdom Hearts

Didn't buy them because they were scented,but rather because of the spring feeling I get from the colors.
They didn't smell anything other than the same dizzying smell you get when you sniff nailpolish for too loong either so I guess they smell when it's on and dryed up.

Sucker for turquoise.
I don't think the brushes are all that but color >.>
I haven't tried them before.

I used to be good at drawing,now,not so much.
